What is Collagen?

The word collagen is derived from the Greek word, Kolla which means, glue.
Collagen is the glue that holds the body together.

It is a protein and the main building blocks of our skin, bones, tendons & ligaments.

Adding Platinum Collagen to your daily diet may include improved skin health (reduced wrinkles), healthier hair, stronger nails, less joint pain, improved gut health, and wound healing (post-surgery).

This recipe includes wholesome ingredients promoting healthy skin, hair & nails.

This smoothie is a great way to get your protein intake as well as support collagen production in your body!

Recipe:

Equipment
• Measuring Cups and Spoons
• High Powered Blender or bullet blender
• Glass
• Dessert spoon
Ingredients
• 1 cup Almond milk
• 1 tablespoon Platinum Collagen powder
• 1 teaspoon Almond butter
• 1 teaspoon Chia seeds
• 1 medium banana frozen in pieces
• ⅓ cup strawberries frozen
• ¼ teaspoon Vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon coconut yoghurt

Instructions

  1. Add the almond milk, collagen powder, almond butter, chia seeds, frozen banana, frozen strawberries and vanilla extract to the jug of a blender.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Use the back of a dessert spoon to swoosh the coconut yogurt on the inside of the glass to resemble clouds.
  4. Pour the smoothie into the glass and drink straight away.
